Learn moreNexoria is building a person-centered Adaptive Skills Training program designed to strengthen practical independence, choice, safety, communication, and participation in real life.
Goals are selected because they matter in the person’s routines and are practiced in the places those skills are actually used.
Adaptive Skills Training can address practical, measurable goals identified through the individual’s plan and authorization.

Functional communication, self-advocacy, preferences, decision-making, and help-seeking.
Practical safety routines, hazard awareness, technology safety, and emergency-response skills.
We emphasize graded assistance, practice, feedback, visual supports, natural supports, and thoughtful fading so the person—not the prompt—stays at the center.
Instruction is designed around the person’s strengths, preferences, communication style, culture, support needs, and meaningful outcomes.
Nexoria’s service philosophy prioritizes functional relevance before convenience. When safe instruction can build independence, staff avoid simply doing the task for the individual.
Start with what matters. Goals connect to meaningful routines and authorized outcomes.
Practice where life happens. Skills are taught in natural home and community settings whenever appropriate.
Adjust based on response. Progress data and person/family feedback guide decisions.
